Reserving a seat with us
A counter of twenty-one seats, one lunch and one dinner service a day. These are the few things worth agreeing on before you sit down.

The reservation
Every seat is omakase and by reservation. You choose the menu when you book, and it is served to the whole party — the kitchen cooks one sequence at a time.
A booking is held from the moment you make it. We confirm each one personally, so a reservation is complete when you have heard from us.
Lunch closes for same-day booking at 10am and dinner at 4pm.
Prices and what is added
Menu prices are per person. A 10% service charge and prevailing government taxes are added to the final bill.
The card authorisation placed against a booking is the menu price times your party plus 9% GST. Service charge is not included in it.
The card that guarantees a booking
An authorisation — a hold, not a payment — is placed on your card when you book. Nothing is taken.
Card networks expire an authorisation after about five days. If your reservation is further off than that, the first hold lapses on its own and we place a fresh one in the final three days, so you may see it twice.
The hold is released after you dine. A day after the seating we release it automatically.
If you do not come and do not tell us, the owner may charge that amount. That decision is hers alone and is made within 24 hours of the seating.
Changing or cancelling
Up to 72 hours before your reservation you may change the date and time, or cancel, from the link in your confirmation email. There is no charge.
Inside 72 hours, please call us on +65 8454 6456. The no-show policy above applies.
The menu and the number of guests are not changed online: both are priced and prepared for, so they stay a conversation with us.
Allergies and what we cannot cook
Tell us when you book. An allergy raised on the night may not be possible to work around.
The menu is built on sushi and seafood, raw and cooked. We cannot offer a vegetarian or seafood-free menu.
We handle fish, shellfish, soy, wheat, egg and sesame in one kitchen. We cannot promise the absence of any trace.
Arriving
Please come on time. Courses are timed to the room, and a late arrival may miss part of the menu; we cannot extend a seating into the next one.
Allow about 1½ hours for lunch and 2½ for dinner. Dress is smart casual.
Photographs
You are welcome to photograph your food. Please be considerate of other guests and of the team at work.
We sometimes photograph the room for our own use. Tell any of us if you would rather not appear.
